Cueva de Esplendor
One of the most magical experiences awaiting you at Glamping Jardín is the incredible hike to Cueva del Esplendor. From Glamping Jardín, you’ll embark on a scenic walk through the heart of Colombia’s coffee country. The trail winds through lush green pastures dotted with grazing cows, rolling hills covered in coffee plantations, and traditional Colombian farmhouses that seem frozen in time. This isn’t just a hike – it’s a journey through the authentic rural life of Antioquia.
Routes from town
Looking for a scenic walk that won’t consume your entire day? These two mountain routes lead you to stunning waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints. Whether you opt for the 1-hour hike to La Garrucha with its authentic cable car experience, or the 2-hour journey to Cristo Rey, Café Jardín, and Cascada la Escalera, both paths offer an effortless way to immerse yourself in Jardín’s natural beauty.
Bee Tour
Just a 30-minute walk from Glamping Jardín, you’ll find Miel del Jardín at Finca la Florida, a family-run farm that offers an immersive and eye-opening bee tour. Surrounded by banana plants, colorful flowers, and rolling coffee fields, the short journey to the finca is an experience in itself. What awaits at the end is even more magical: a hands-on introduction to the incredible world of bees.

Ever climbed through a tree to reach a waterfall? At Chorro Blanco, you can! This challenging trail leads to an incredible natural wonder that’s worth every step. We don’t recommend going solo—team up with fellow adventurers or book a guided tour with one of the local companies in town (our recommendation: Parchemonos!).
Coffee Tour
Just a quick 30-minute walk from here, nestled in these lush green hills, sits Finca Carrizales – a small, family-run coffee farm that’s been perfecting their craft for five generations. This isn’t just another farm; it’s an authentic, old-school operation that’s all about preserving coffee quality the way it’s always been done.

This scenic 9.2 km loop trail starts from Glamping Jardín and winds through lush banana and coffee plantations. Initially, I approached this trail expecting a typical, albeit challenging, hike. I’m usually not one to hire guides for my treks—nature should be free, right? But let me tell you, this adventure proved that having a guide isn’t just helpful—it’s essential.
