DISCOVER JARDÍN
Walk through the beautiful streets of the charming town Jardín. Drink a coffee with the locals at the square and enjoy the authentic Colombian town life.
More interested in nature? Within a few minutes you’re outside town and in the nature. You can find the easy walks to viewpoints and waterfalls here.
SEE A SHOW AT THE THEATER
Jardín has one of the most beautiful theatres in Antioquia! Recently renovated and reopened since 2019 Teatro Municipal Rafael Leonidas Velásquez Rojas is really worth a visit.There are a lot of events like movies, music, dance and humor shows. Follow their social media or ask us about the programming.
TAKE SOME SPANISH LESSONS
While traveling in Colombia/South America some basic spanish can be really helpful and will definitely change your experience.
At Hablea spanish school in Jardín you can choose group lessons or private lessons to learn or immerse you spanish. The experienced teachers will help you learn the language in a fun way.

TOUR DE ABEJAS
This really informative tour is one of our highlights in Jardín.
Anderson and his family from Finca la Florida are working with the bees for many years. In the tour they tell you everything about the bees and why they are so important for our ecosystem. They show you the beehives and the bee families they’ve rescued. Really interesting and a nice experience!
And from our Glamping just a nice 20 minute walk trough the Colombian countryside!
COFFEE TOUR
As one of the most coffee producing regions there are a lot of coffee farms who opened the doors for visitors with tours. In town and online you can find a lot of them. Our neighbours from Finca Carrizales have a very nice tour within 20 minutes walking from here.
Rather go to a tour from town? The tour from Cafe Historias is also very nice
CUEVA DEL ESPLENDOR
Hidden in the mountains between Jardín and Tamesis you’ll find the Cueva de Esplendor. This cave with beautiful waterfall is one of the main attractions in town.
You can hike up there yourself in about 2 hours from here. When you arrive at the entrance you pay the fee and than you have to wait for a group to go down to the cueva.
The other option is to book a tour, than you skip 1.5 hours of walking and you don’t have to wait for a group to go down. If you book with Agencia Cueva del Esplendor they will pick you up here.

REVOLUCIÓN BANANERA
Located within a 15 minute walk outside the town you will find Revolución Bananera. A vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a great menu! Hash Browns, bowls, salads and way more! All fresh and healthy and with as much as possible from their own vegetable garden!
They only work on reservation so make sure you send them a message!
COCOA CAFÉ FRANCÉS
Coffee, waffles, brunch, crepes but most of all delicious ice cream in a freshly baked warm cone…. If you’re in to something sweet this is the place to be!
The friendly owners and there staff will make your stay even better!
ARTESANA COCINA GOURMET
This small restaurant serves you great food. Currys, pastas, burritos and more! All freshly made and served with a smile! We like this restaurant for the vegetarian options and healthy food. You can eat it there but they also offer domicilios and take-away.

Located on the square with Jardíns best pizza’s, pasta’s and friendly staff!
OTRA COCINA:
Local food with an international touch. really recommended!
BELLA ITALIA:
Real italian pizzas & pastas, a good glass of wine and tiramisu as desert!
MACANAS:
The most instagramable place in Jardín. Nice breakfast & coffee!
